My name is Emmett Dale McCarty. I was born in 1915 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Worked for the railroad, supported my family, lived not the best of ways. But I had fun as much as a guy could have during the depression. My world changed in 1935, I died and was reborn. Thanks to my Angel. To be fair I thought I had ended up in Hell. But like I told Bella, "Hell's not so bad if you get to keep an angel with you."
